Save Money with a Stainless Steel Coffee FilterThe Importance of the Coffee Filter There are many factors that affect the quality of a cup of coffee. The type of coffee bean used, the density of the grind, the quality of water used to brew the coffee, the temperature at which it is brewed and maintained are just a few of the mitigating factors. Another one to consider is the type of coffee filter used. For most people, a simple paper filter suffices. Some may even use a paper towel or napkin in a pinch. Does it really matter, they may ask. I mentioned consistency and that is what you get with a stainless steel coffee filter. The steel mesh is porous enough to allow perfect brewing and it never fails. It makes the same pot of coffee every time as long as the grounds are the same. Heavy Metal Coffee? Some people might ask if the stainless steel coffee filter affects the taste of the coffee by giving it a metallic taste. This might seem possible, but it simply is not the case. The steel causes no residual flavor effects to your coffee. You get a consistently good cup of coffee every time and that is the most important thing to a real coffee connoisseur. |
